Bug Description

madfuload is a firmware uploading tool necessary for certain external sound cards used by e.g. musicians. It does not work properly: while it can be manually invoked, the udev script does nothing.

Madfuload expects command lines such as:
madfuload -v -l -3 -f /usr/share/usb/maudio/ma004103.bin -D /dev/bus/usb/002/002
(and if does this manually, the firmware gets uploaded).

It is invoked from:
/lib/udev/rules.d/42-madfuload.rules

It's probably just a matter of fixing the udev rules.

$ apt-cache policy madfuload
