Bug Description
Ubuntu Bionic currently has MAAS 2.4 alpha 1. This is a Standing Feature Freeze Exception request for MAAS 2.4 upcoming alpha/beta/rc/final releases for Ubuntu Bionic.
Dependencies & Upgrade

MAAS 2.4 has introduced the following features:
- Replacement of ntpd in favor of chrony,
- Ability to lock machines
- backend performance improvements
- UI performance improvements.
- External authentication.
- KVM pod improvements.
Upcoming releases are targeted to bugfix, improve and complete the features above.
