Bug Description
theres a fairly good askubuntu question with an answer on how to reach the maas api via python [1].
However, there is no way to my knowledge of getting apiclient library in python3 on ubuntu.
It seems anyone writing a client for maas using apiclient would probably want to do so in python3.

Now xenial comes with python3- maas-client, so you can use python3, but you can't use python2. Maybe the path to go is to use maasclient[0]: " py2/3 maas client http:// maasclient. rtfd.org/ "
