2012-10-17 00:14:57 dann frazier description I installed a MAAS server into a VM w/ the beta2 quantal cd: ubuntu-12.10-beta2-server-amd64.iso I did pass console=ttyS0, and I am in an environment w/ no NTP server, but other than that a very "vanilla" install. After install, the MAAS interface displayed the following warning: "The region controller does not know whether any boot images have been imported yet. If this message does not disappear in 5 minutes, there may be a communication problem between teh region worker process and the region controller. Check teh region worker's logs for signs that it was unable to report to the MAAS API. I waited > 5 minutes and reloaded, but the error persisted. I looked through the logs under /var/log/maas, but I didn't see any sign of a communication problem.
