To summarize first:
libQt5Gui.so.5 => not found
libQt5Core.so.5 => not found
libdouble-conversion.so.1 => not found

then this error:
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"
in "".

Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, xcb.

Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Is this a problem in LyX installed from a Ubuntu repository? Which release of Ubuntu are you using? How did you install and start LyX? Can you provide output of the command "apt-cache policy lyx"?
