Bug Description
Binary package hint: lynx
When installing lynx on the server install, lynx won't start because the start page that is installed by the package by default is a file on the local filesystem that apparently is not installed with ubuntu intrepid server, or lynx.
The default start page is this: /usr/share/
This can be easily fixed by changing the lynx package that when it installs /etc/lynx.cfg the start page is set to a website on the internet that exists (perhaps the Lynx home page, or a site on ubuntu.com for that purpose?) --- alternately, the package could install an html file in the folder specified above. (the latter option would be better for installs of the server that do not have good or frequent access to the internet)
I know that the lynx package is transitional and goes to something else, but I do not know what it is. The lynx version installed on the system is noted below my name.
If you have any questions please post a comment to this bug report.
Thanks!
