I believe this is now fixed in latest versions of lxtask released by upstream. Thank you very much.

Changed in lxtask (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → Low
summary: - lxtask shows 3 tasks out of alphabetical order
+ alphabetical sorting in lxtask is case sensitive

in both vivid and utopic, this bug is still present, though it was sort of poorly defined. not sure it's really a bug or just outside of the original design, but this is a case sensitivity issue.

let's assume we had tasks Foo, foo, Bar, and bar.

currently, lxtask sorts like so:
Bar
Foo
bar
foo

the OP would like:
bar
Bar
foo
Foo

needless to say, i'm calling this low.

Changed in lxtask (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Triaged
description: updated

i'm actually going to assume this is not an issue of fulfilling the design and call it a wishlist item.

Changed in lxtask (Ubuntu):
