Bug Description

Since I connected external VGA (D-sub) monitor laptop's main LCD display allways blank and black, whatever screen combinations and options I've tried with xrandr or LXrandr GUI.

When executing randr LCD flashes with sublight but show no picture, it's just blank.

In Windows 7 LCD display works well with or without external display.

Unpugging external display make LCD work well.

laptop is netbook Asus X101CH with Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit with latest updates
video is Intel CedarView builtin GMA3600
xrandr output below

I suppose this issue related to radeon driver, because on my previous installation(Ubuntu 14.04, fglrx driver) all worked fine.

I am also facing the same issue.
Currently using Kubuntu 20.04LTS

When I connect VGA monitor in Windows it works perfectly, but when I connect it to Ubuntu it only shows the output on VGA display and the LVDS turns black. If I connect a monitor via HDMI it works perfectly in Ubuntu.

Any solution please !!
