Bug Description

To reproduce make your openbox menu the menu provided in /usr/share/lubuntu/openbox/menu.xml on lubuntu in your ~/.config/openbox/lubuntu.rc.xml. Then openbox --reconfigure to update openbox configuration or rebooting would work to get this menu to load in openbox configuration if on an upgrade. Then in run pcmanfm --desktop-pref and click on the advanced tab and make sure show window manager menus on right click is checked. Then right click on the menu and try launching any of the applicatoins other than the web browser or terminal emulator.

The unexpected behavior is that applcations like default document or spreadsheet bring you back to the lightdm login screen. This can be bad because if you have an unsaved document you could lose your data as it starts a new session.

Workaround

Making your own menu.xml file for openbox currently works if you input your own commands like firefox and pcmanfm in the execute portions of the menu to launch those applications.
