Brightness in lxqt-config does not remember setting after reboot

In Lubuntu 20.04, screen brightness setting has to be redone after every reboot. New settings are not saved.

Try running the following:
  > lxqt-sudo lxqt-config
and see if your new config does indeed save

No it does not work. Also, I checked the .config/lxqt folder to find a brightness setting. There is not in any of the config files.

I'm unable to reproduce this with any recent version of Lubuntu. If this is still an issue, please report back.
