using monitor settings to move a monitor causes you to be logged out when clicking apply. Doing this manually with xrandr and or installing nvidia-drivers and you don't have the problem |

However using xrandr to achieve the same and it just works
Install nvidia drivers and use the nvidia-settings to do the same thing - just works
