Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding lxpanel. This problem was most recently seen with package version 0.8.2-1ubuntu2, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/9241a74abdc3e452fceded1ac03ea9cd33151834 contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 16.04 is still supported, however Lubuntu only supports the package for 3 years, that supported ended 2019-April.

Ubuntu 16.10 (yakkety) reached end-of-life on July 20, 2017.
Ubuntu 15.10 (wily) reached end-of-life on July 28, 2016.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new version it is in.
