Steps to reproduceon an install of ubuntu mate run apt-get install lubuntu-core and get lxpanel and add the battery applet have the battery get discharged then plug the laptop in and turn it on so that is charging on ac power as you use it. It says it will charge to full in 0:00 when it is half charged.

Description: Ubuntu 15.04

I expected the battery monitor to tell me the correct time until charged instead of 0:00 I can see the time to charged if I start xfce4-power-manager. Which show a reasonable amount of time.

I had this functionality working in my Lubuntu 15.04 until recently, but since an update today I am observing that it will neither show the correct charge nor show the time until full charge (shows 0:00).

Going to Preferences -> Power Manager, then disconnecting and reconnecting A/c power seemed to reset the widget. It then shows the correct values.
