Bug Description

To reproduce open a live cd in virtualbox of a lubuntu i386 iso in a live session. To find this open then look at the panel and see the black backgruodn that makes it hard to look at the background.

I expected the panel to be a very light gray like how the panel normally is by defualt on lubuntu. Instead it is black like in screenshot.

This an applet bug. Artwork is working fine (tested the new artwork on a Trusty machine).

affects: lubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) → lxpanel (Ubuntu)

pretty sure this happened on utopic, so please test there, too, though
i believe it is probably an applet error given that the art appears
appropriate.

Are you sure this was meant for me?

Uh, people? Take a look at the bug page. It's not assigned to you personally, it's assigned to the Lubuntu Team, and presumably you're on that mailing list.

Hi, I am running Lubuntu and have this problem very often. I did notice that if you turn Panel 'tooltips' off, the problem goes away. Just my two cents worth!

@Brendan can you confirm the above?

Yes I could after a lot of trying and clicking on the panel get it to have the corrupt but closing the panel tooltips does fix this problem you need ot make sure they are all closed. To reproduce you need to open several panel tooltips to get it to do this.

@sk1d it's interesting that you don't have it since it was confirmed in utopic. you should look through that other bug and see if you can determine why not.
