Bug Description

When lxpanel crashes then restarts, there are no items in the Menu, except for Run and Logout. Everything else is missing. Attached is the file ~/.cache/lxsession/Lubuntu/run.log.

Upon viewing the log file, the exit code 139 crops up a bit, which, with googling, is the exit code for a segmentation fault that usually happens when a program accesses memory it's not allowed to access (I think).

The very last exit code is 15. Restarting it with lxpanelctl restart didn't seem to do anything so I killed lxpanel and manually restarted it and the menu had items in it again, although I had to manually restart twice before the menu was not empty:

thedoctar@GALLIFREY:~$ ps -e | grep lx
 1284 ? 00:00:00 lxsession
11467 ? 00:00:01 lxpanel
thedoctar@GALLIFREY:~$ kill 11467
thedoctar@GALLIFREY:~$ lxpanel --profile Lubuntu

I think it has something to do with the fact that when lxpanel restarts, it's not run with the '--profile Lubuntu' option, which presumably describes what's in the menu.

I just confirmed with ps -ef | grep lxpanel that it is in fact running with --profile Lubuntu. This is born out by the fact that the panel retains all my customizations.
