Bug Description
Binary package hint: lxlauncher
I noticed that the text under the LXLauncher icons isn't centered when the appname only takes up 1 line.
I downloaded the LXLauncher source and found:
/* Adjust the size of label and set line wrapping is needed.
* FIXME: this is too dirty, and the effect is quite limited.
* However, due to the unfortunate design flaws of gtk+, the
* only way to overcome this might be implement our own label class.
*/
So I guess people are aware of this.
On the Lubuntu IRC chat jmarsden said:
<jmarsden> I'd guess the name is centered within a text box and then that box is being placed on the left of some larger enclosing box. Example: if you look in the Work tab of lxlauncher in a fresh install of lubuntu-11.04.iso, the "Open box session" text is centered but placed so it does not extend beyond the right edge of its icon, but does extend well to the left of that icon.
Regardless of the fact that this is just a cosmetic issue, I believe this bug makes lubuntu netbook look less attractive
