2011-09-26 10:28:54 Pjotr12345 description In Lubuntu 11.10, LXDM doesn't recognize user names that begin with a capital. For example: you have installed Lubuntu with user John. User name is (of course) "John". But you can't login with username "John", only with user name "john" (all lower case). LXDM should recognize capitals and "translate" them to lower case "under the hood", in order to make login possible. The current situation is confusing and can be highly frustrating for people with little Linux knowledge.
