Bug Description

I observe all symptoms of lxdm bug 789 available here
https://sourceforge.net/p/lxde/bugs/789/
on a current Bionic 18.04 install. I assume the bug fix mentioned there
never made it into the ubuntu packages.

For example
# ll /var/run/lxdm
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 100 Jun 12 13:48 ./
drwxr-xr-x 32 root root 1220 Jun 12 13:49 ../
-rw------- 1 root root 52 Jun 12 13:47 lxdm-:0.auth
srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Jun 12 13:47 lxdm.sock=
-rw------- 1 ckoe bccms 52 Jun 12 13:48 .Xauth20002
shows that the users (uid 20002) .Xauth20002 file is actually in the user-non-writeable directory mentioned in the bug report which prevents locking operations from succeeding.

Please release a new package including that bug fix. Currently lxdm is unusable for us.
