Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 17.04 dev with lxdm 0.5.3-2 and I'm noticing that lxdm tries to start over and over every few seconds if it fails (for example because the graphics driver is not correctly setup). This makes it difficult to login as root as on switching to the console lxdm switches back on its next try. Sometimes it also seems to not be possible at all to switch to the console with CTRL + ALT + F1.
