Related to the bridge upgrade - from the log:

Setting up lxd (2.4.1-0ubuntu1.1) ...

Old bridge configuration detected in /etc/default/lxd-bridge, upgrading
Unsetting deprecated profile options
Attempting to kill current lxd-bridge
Bringing down and renaming existing bridge lxdbr0 to lxd-upgrade
Creating a new LXD bridge
Moving the old bridge into place
Cannot find device "lxdbr0"

The LXD team might have better advise but it can help if you could share "brctl show"
