Thanks for reporting this bug. We believe the fix for this is currently in the precise-proposed archive, and should arrive in precise-updates (which should fix the problem on your system) this week.

To be sure, could you provide the output of

ls -l /bin/sh
ps -ef | grep dnsmasq
