Bug Description

I was trying to upgrade the system to see new updates on the Ubuntu 16.04. But it couldn't be finished because the operation stopped while upgrading lvm2. So I guess it broke the OS because I can't do the "apt-get upgrade" anymore.

I'm running do-release-upgrade on 14.04 to get to 16.04.
This is one of the errors that appears.
    E: Version ‘2.02.133-1ubuntu10’ for ‘libdevmapper1.02.1’ was not found
https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/libdevmapper1.02.1 suggests
libdevmapper1.02.1 (2:1.02.110-1ubuntu10) is available with the source
package being lvm2_2.02.133-1ubuntu10.

Why is 2.02.133 being referenced when 1.02.110 is what's available?
Also, this bug is of 'critical' importance but has seen no action since 2016. :-(
