Lubuntu software center will not list 'apps basket' items

Step 5 on the first test case for Lubuntu Software Center fails for me. Anki has been added to the basket. The basket has a 1 in parenthesis but the basket itself is empty. I added other packages but the apps basket is always empty. It is suppose to list the added applications.
