Bug Description
I tried to make a bootable USB stick with Unetbootin to install Lubuntu 12.04, but I get nowhere. I've used Unetbootin for installing other distributions before using the same computer, even earlier releases of Lubuntu. Whichever option I choose in the menu, it then leaves me with a black screen which disappears and reboots back to the same menu if I press a button. Endless loop.
Then I tried using usb-creato insteadr and the install worked fine, but when the installation was finished and it asked me to reboot, I got nowhere this time as well. At least this time I saw an ever-blinking underscore. Prior to the reboot I changed the boot order and removed the USB stick. Like I always do.
What's strange is that if I leave the USB stick I used for the install connected; I don't remove it or change the boot order, then Lubuntu boots properly and there I am with the fresh install. I can even make permanent changes which remains after reboot, but this is ONLY if I keep the USB stick connected. As you understand, this is not very comfortable, I don't want to have the USB stick connected for ever.
Thank you for a great distribution.
