Bug Description

tested on 11.10

used netinstall 11.10, i386.

after the system was up i installed lubuntu-core.

After a reboot no x was coming up, as it seems lxdm was not installed because lxde-core and lxde-common are missing in the dependencies of lubuntu-core.

not tested with 12.04

It's an expected behavior, lxde-common and lxde-core are part of the genuine lxde session. Lubuntu only relies on it's own packages : lubuntu-core, lubuntu-desktop, and lubuntu-default-settings.

Changed in lubuntu-meta (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Won't Fix
