Input Method Switcher will not launch

Bug Description

Affects: Lubuntu precise.desktop.powerpc.iso 20120311 installation.
Immediately following succesful entire disk installation

Computer: eMac G4 800 MHz, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia Graphics, 80 GB hard drive

Problem: Input Method Switcher will not launch when navigating by mouse to Preferences >> Input Method Switcher.
This is the first time I've encountered this problem while testing Precise.
