"Network Connections" background is black

Bug Description

Affects: Lubuntu precise.desktop.powerpc.iso 20120311 installation.
Immediately following succesful entire disk installation

Computer: eMac G4 800 MHz, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia Graphics, 80 GB hard drive

Problem: "Network Connections" background is black, text is white. (As if in high contrast mode)
Immediately following succesful entire disk installation.
Similar to bugs: #951102, #951100, #951103

And since this is a display issue, I should mention that when I ran apport via command line I received this error:
