Bug Description

Following install of Lubuntu precise.desktop.powerpc.iso 21020308 on eMac G4 800Mhz and after applying current updates via Update Manager, Network Connections was no longer listed in Preferences.

During the update some elements did not update:
The following packages have been kept back:
  gconf-service gconf2 gconf2-common libgconf-2-4 libgconf2-4
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.

Since then, those updates have been applied, but Network Connections is still missing from Preferences.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect <bug #>

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

I've marked this as invalid - as PPC is no longer supported by Lubuntu

Changed in lubuntu-meta (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
