Bug Description

After installation of 11.04, there was no sound mixer. I found just a volume control on the taskbar, but it also doesn't work. So, every app must care about it's volume. It's normally, when the volume control slider is just there, like in Audacious. But there are some apps, where it's not so easy to control the volume (tuxguitar for example, which uses timidity or some other midi emulation utilities, which usually are run through terminal). So I just installed the gnome-alsamixer package, and it works fine. In addition, it is small and easy. I think this (or some other) sound mixer must be included in the future releases of lubuntu. Hope this will be solved one day.

There must be a sound mixer in Lubuntu at least in the LTS ...

You can use alsamixer. But still I'd like to see normal mixer in lubuntu.
