Bug Description

Monitor: ASUS PA248Q 24" ProArt 1920x1200.

After upgrading to 17.10, display defaults to standard VGA (1024x768). Unable to set display to a higher resolution.

Unfortunately, 17.10 has long since reached end of life. If the bug is still relevant, please execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
