lubuntu 16.04.1 desktop fails to install cups

cups specifically lp and lpr missing.

install lubuntu 16.04.1 alternate
cups no parts missing.

also checked:
lubuntu 14.04.5 desktop
lubuntu 15.10 desktop
lubuntu yakkety desktop
cups no missing parts.

we currently have lubuntu 15.04 desktop running and printing, no cups parts missing.

d-i just installs based on tasks and seeds, this isn't a bug in d-i

As mentioned... ONLY lubuntu 16.04 desktop cups is missing.

Previous and Next versions have cups in the installer:

lubuntu 14.04 desktop has cups
lubuntu 15.04 desktop has cups
lubuntu 15.10 desktop has cups
lubuntu yakkety desktop has cups
--and--
lubuntu 16.04 alternate has cups

Surely this is a defect (regression, bug) that has been CORRECTED in yakkety. It is certainly unexpected behaviour!

This was never fixed in Xenial, but it is resolved in Bionic. Lubuntu Team supported Xenial until April of this year, so one shouldn't expect a fix in Xenial.
