Bug Description
lubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
Package version unknown
(Fresh Install 32bit version)
I'm using a Toshiba Satelite Pro L450-17K laptop with an external USB keyboard (Micrsoft Wired Keyboard 600 - Model 1366)
Keyboard selected during installation: 'UK'
After installation, the keyboard logo on the panel read 'US'. On clicking the menu to change keyboard layout, simply 'UK' wasn't an option, only 'UK dvorak' or 'UK winkey extensions'. I selected winkey extensions.
The Microsoft keyboard mentioned has a calculator button above the numeral keypad, which with Windows serves to automatically open the calculator app. I used this with lubuntu 12.04 and it opened Galculator. I tried to use it on 14.04.1, and instead of opening Galculator, it logs off the current user account. (Arguably this is still a useful shortcut, but not the one I was expecting.)
