Bug Description

Hi,

I installed Lubuntu 14.04 LTS Desktop AMD64 recently, but I noticed that power management related area seems broken.

1. When I go to see the power management related settings (Lubuntu button ("Start" button) - > Preferences -> Power Management) for the first time after a clean boot, I get this dialog box "Xfce4 Power Manager is not running, do you want to launch it now?"

Does this mean that some applet that is suppose to be running doesn't run automatically after a clean boot?
When I go to see the power management related settings afterwards (i.e., launching the Power Manager for the second time and beyond), I don't see this message.
I don't believe this is a desirable behavior.
Please fix this bug.

2. Pressing the power button of the computer always asks the user what to do

Even if I change the power button behavior in the Power Manager (General -> General Options -> When power button is pressed) to "Suspend" or "Nothing" I still get "Logout Lubuntu 14.04 Session?" dialog box with the rest of the desktop grayed out.
I believe this is a buggy behavior.
Please fix this bug.

My Computer:

- AMD Athlon II X4 630
- MSI 870A-G54 mainboard
  * BIOS Version 17.20 (last release)
- 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM
- Diamond Multimedia Radeon HD 4350
  * PCI Express x16
  * 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM
- Hitachi 250 GB SATA hard drive

Please note that ACPI S3 State resume itself works fine with this mainboard / graphics card combination.
I applied any updates issued via Software Updater as of 6/3/2014.

Regards,

Kevin Brace
