The linux-image-omap package was removed in recent versions of Ubuntu, as best I can tell. Should probably default to linux-image-generic, which is present in since Ubuntu "saucy", and maybe only fall back to linux-image-omap for precise?

ltsp-build-client references linux-image-omap4, while linux-image-omap is the correct name.

as linux-image-omap4 is just a "link" to linux-image-generic, fix the original LTSP config.

I had not seen this bug, but I believe my following commit fixed it:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ltsp-upstream/ltsp/ltsp-trunk/revision/2687

Marking as fix released (in LTSP 5.5.5), please reopen if something is still wrong.
For a 14.04 backport, someone would need to do an SRU:

Changed in ltsp (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → Alkis Georgopoulos (alkisg)
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: Confirmed → Fix Released
