Bug Description

I am trying to set up a 50 seater lab, using a thin client server, where I've installed Ubuntu 11.10 LTSP, on a Intel Xeon based HP ML350 with 4 Ghz Memory and 250 GB HDD.
The issue I'm having is, i've done all the updates and run the upgrade command, via software centre and have used the following commands (as root user):

* apt-get install ltsp-server-standalone openssh-server
* /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server restart
*ltsp-update-sshkeys
* ltsp-build-client --arch i386
* /etc/init.d/nbd-server restart
* /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server status
 and as well: sudo ltsp-update image

What happens is sometimes logging in from the thin client works, but after a few minutes it gets logged out back to the login screen.
And if it does log in without any problems, as soon as firefox is used, it logs out of the system.

What could be the problem?

Any feedback/instructions on sorting this out, will be of great help !
Thanks...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1156538/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

That part might be a duplicate of LP bug #1072711

Ubuntu 11.10 is now EOL, can you reproduce it with some supported version?
