Bug Description

The shmt09 test part of the LTP suite fails for Feisty herd 3 on T1000. This test works on i386 and amd64.

Reproduction steps:
1. Install the ltp-kernel-test package.
2. Run /usr/lib/debian-test/tests/linux/testcases/bin/shmt09

Expected result:
shmt09 1 PASS: sbrk, sbrk, shmget, shmat
shmt09 1 PASS: sbrk, shmat
shmt09 1 PASS: sbrk, shmat
shmt09 1 PASS: sbrk

Actual result:
shmat1: Invalid argument

root@ubuntu:~# /usr/lib/debian-test/tests/linux/testcases/bin/shmt09
shmt09 1 PASS : sbrk, sbrk, shmget, shmat
shmt09 2 PASS : sbrk, shmat
shmat1: Invalid argument
shmt09 3 FAIL : Error: shmat Failed, shmid = 98304, errno = 29

copy the full and correct error.

some extra info.. this bug is not Niagara specific.

also note that 32/64 bit userland makes no diff.

Even more info, it's most likely sparc specific (doesn't appear on ppc64).
