lshw-gtk doesn't show all the details

I ran lshw-gtk and it shows very sparse details. Attaching screenshot for the same.

perhaps you didn't run this as root? try running lshw-gtk as root. if that still only shows small amounts of detail, try just running "lshw" as root...does it give more information? what exactly does it give?

erm...sorry, I see that you've already attached lshw output. so the question is whether they were both ran as root or not.

You have to double-click the "Desktop Computer" entry in the left column so that the next column is filled with further clickable entries (and of course run the software with gksudo / kdesudo)

I'm having the same issue; I'm only getting Notebook Computer in the leftmost column, then Motherboard with a few subentries in the next few columns. I'm not getting any sound, video, or other hardware info that I would have expected to see.
