lo-menubar provides an extension to libreoffice to export the application menus to the global menu (appmenu). This provides a more consistent user experience by displaying the menus consistently across apps.

This package meets the requirements of the MIR policy.

The packaging itself is fine and will be well maintained by the DX team, but there are some serious bugs: bug 727345 (chinese doesn't work) and bug 739184 (alt+f and friends don't work).

Probably shouldn't be official until such issues work.

Not appropriate for main (let alone default install) right now, due to bug 760879, bug 739184, and others. Also, this does not currently have an upstream maintainer, this was a piece of contractor work.

LibreOffice 3.4.3 has Global Menu integration, the PPA is still on 3.4.2, it should be updated... There is no need for the extension...
