Boot Ubuntu ISO in Live testing mode. du -h /var/lib/swcatalog ls -a /var/lib/apt/lists du -h /var/lib/apt/lists The amount is larger than I expected when you look at what wouldn't be installed from a non-live ISO due to live-build not cleaning up after appstream. This also glitches the snap store which falls back to appstream icons if they exist. On first run you can sometimes see them shifting around and glitching the UI as you work through the app on poor WiFi or cellular connections.
