Bug Description

livecd-rootfs: Port to Python3 needed. The package currently depends on

  python-minimal | python, python3-software-properties

Python3 should be used unconditionally.

This is only used for vmdk-stream-converter, which lists itself as python2-only; so vmdk-stream-converter needs to be fixed first. Balint, any chance this is something you would want to look at as part of the dependency clean-up work?

vmdk-stream-converter needs to be converted to python3 first, then livecd-rootfs can switch, too.
I'm writing a patch for the former to be applied in Debian.
