Bug Description

I have edited au-Brisbane to include all local tv stations frequencies etc (I also have a channels.conf file created from this). But I don't know where to send it (them). They are as below.

The au-Brisbane file is as below:

# Australia / Brisbane (Mt Coot-tha transmitters)
# T freq bw fec_hi fec_lo mod transmission-mode guard-interval hierarchy
# ABC
T 226500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Seven
T 177500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Nine
T 191625000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# Ten
T 219500000 7MHz 3/4 NONE QAM64 8k 1/16 NONE
# SBS
T 585625000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM64 8k 1/8 NONE
# CTV31
T 599500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QPSK 8k 1/8 NONE

The au-Brisbane file appears almost OK (the work hierarchy has been wrapped so it is no longer part of a comment) but the channels.conf looks like it did not withstand the paste.

If anyone cares I can send these as an attachment to an email address you nominate.

Best regards dogphlap.

The word "work" in the previous comment should be "word".

This attachment contains a solution for this but. But your website won't allow me to call it a patch.
I'll try and post channels.conf generated from au-Brisbane next.

Ok now if you would like some backup documentation that these are accurate I will next attach the Australian government ACMA spreadsheet that lists all the frequencies and providers in the wide brown land.

That all I've got. As this is probably not the correct place to post all this maybe you could point me to somewhere that is.

Best regards dogphlap.

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream believes this to be fixed in the latest version. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions.

Changed in mythbuntu:
status: New → Won't Fix

Thank you for getting back to me.
This was about 11.04.
I'm currently running 12.04 (not the current 14.04 version).
I'll do some checking on 14.04 soon to verify the au-Brisbane file.
Best regards.
