Bug Description
after upgrading to this kernel, the VM under ESXi 5.0 fails to boot the new kernel
You have to boot from a live cd and uninstall the kernel to fix. Reverting to 2.6.32-40 solves the issue so this is a regression 2.6.32-41

I just upgraded from Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) to 12.04 (precise) and got the same error in the Bug title.
I have Lubuntu 12.04 on another partition (from which I am writing this), and tomorrow will probably try
boot-repair, unless I can just run update-grub from Lubuntu and solve it that way...
