Bug Description

As an experiment, I loaded version 11.10 Desktop onto to a 8GB USB key using pendrivelinux.com's Universal USB Installer (for WinXP) with the 'Persistent' file size set to 4GB (leaving 4GB for the operating system/image).

I then upgraded Ubuntu to version 12.04 LTS using the 'Updates Available' from the system drop-down menu. I wasn't sure this would work...but AFAICT, it works!

BTW: all this was done on a Panasonic CF-29 MK3 w/touchscreen. The only thing that doesn't quite work right is the touchscreen, which needs calibration, but I can't find a way to do it - it's not important.

You may need to run the following:

sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update

Then re-install the package.

If that does not resolve your issue, please mark the bug as "Confirmed"
