Thank you for responding to my problem so quickly, Brad. Unfortunately for me, I had a total system crash. I am sending this message to you on my wife's computer, while I load on Ubuntu 11.04 onto my pc (I had a disk with that os on it.). I hope to eventually bring the system up to the standard level of 12.04.
