Comment 116 for bug 958174

I am new to Linux and just loaded Ubuntu 12.04. Even during install I had to use the keyboard to complete it. I can move the cursor with the mouse without problem, it's just that I am unable to left click on anything all of a sudden. I have tried all the above suggestions to no avail. My mouse is a Logitech M510. Does anyone have suggestions on a mouse that isn't susceptible to this bug?
