This Broadcom bluetooth device requires firmware to work. Broadcom has provided a GPLv2 firmware uploader utility for loading the firmware. It has been posted to linux-bluetooth at http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-bluetooth/msg17785.html, however using this tool will require modprobe rules to load the firmware after btusb is loaded. We are now implementing a proper solution to load the firmware as a kernel driver. |
