Bug Description

Computer: acer aspire one
Kernel: 3.2.0-10-generic-pae

This computer has an sd port which I use to grab pictures from the camera. It works fine in xubuntu 11.10 with kernel 3.0.0-15-generic the dmesg output when inserted is like this:(This correct operation, what I would expect)

However, In testing Ubuntustudio 12.04 alpha jan21, When I insert the sd card to the computer I get a kernel panic. But if I use a USB adaptor The sd card mounts normally and can be used with no problems.

Something else I found is that I tried to install from this SD inserted directly in the computer. The computer booted from the sd ok, but when I tried to install after choosing keyboard etc. I got a can't find CD message. dmesg showed only the first line from above at that time, but it did not crash. I was able to remove the sd card from the computer and use the usb converter and continue the install normally.

I ran the above command. And it says:
---------------------8<-----------------------
ubuntu-studio@ubuntu-studio:~$ apport-collect 920069

So I am not sure what package it should be ... but, I also ran:

ubuntu-studio@ubuntu-studio:~$ ls /lib/modules/
3.2.0-16-generic 3.2.0-16-generic-pae

And as you can see the kernel is 6 versions farther along from below. I am
writing this from a live session booted from the same SD card plugged into
the computer's SD socket with no problems. So this bug may have been fixed
by one of those changes. I could not boot from this SD card with 3.2.0-10
when plugged into the computer's SD socket, but was fine with a USB
adapter. As I am testing the daily iso for ubuntustudio as they come out,
I not longer have the kernel in question, but it seems a kernel upgrade
would help.
