Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on a danish MacBook Air 4.2. I have chosen the danish Mac keyboard (detected) but none of the "advanced" keys are working ( {}[]@ etc ). This makes the system pretty much useless.

See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1837998 for a similar issue.

2011 thats 5 years to change a keymap. I think many mac users just gave up by now (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2319868).
This howto has a working .xmodmap for danish keyboards: http://howto.praqma.net/ubuntu/keyboard
It doesnt change the "keyboard layout chart", but it works allright.

How hard would it be to submit this to upcoming bugfixes. Obviously i don't know how this works haha.
