Out of curiosity I just installed 3.0.0-15.24-generic (3.0.13) on my Lenovo x220 and am able to successfully suspend and resume thirty times.

This could be a duplicate of bug 904569

I will be performing a bisect to figure out what change could have introduced this regression. I will be asking for some kernels to be tested in bug 904569. It would be great if you could also test some of these kernels.

I posted a test kernel for this bug. The test kernel has the commit reverted that may have caused this regression. Can you please test this kernel and report back if it resolves the issue? Please post your results as a comment in the duplicate of this bug, which is bug 904569 ?

The kernel is available at:

I recently upgraded to 3.0.0.15-26 and suspend seems to work again.
