Bug Description

After upgrading to 11.10, I get this too.

After idling for a while, my monitors go into power-off state, and nothing seems to wake them up, not mouse movements, not keyboard activity, not anything. Ctrl-alt-F1 does not work, and hitting caps lock does not make the keyboard LED blink.

Peter Niemann, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Oneiric reached EOL on May 9, 2013.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Is this an issue in a supported release? If so, could you please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 857768

affects: ubuntu → linux (Ubuntu)
Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low
status: Confirmed → Incomplete

Thanks for Your answer. I'm very sorry, the requested report is not
